December Outing: 12/2-4 – Tunnel Mill – Focus on leather work and pottery merit badges. Low key Scout fun and overnight in the dining hall. $25. Please sign up and pay Mr. Pennington this Thursday. Meet Friday at the Klein Center at 6:00. Return on Sunday, probably around 10:00 am or earlier. Parents keep you phones handy so your Scout can reach you Sunday morning.
Prosser Merit Badge University – December 10 – Cost $20. One of the best opportunity to earn merit badges in the area. Professionals from Prosser teach the classes along with Scouters. Highly recommended. Pre reqs are easy to take care of prior to attending the class.

Hanukkah Dinner – December 11 – Mark your calendars! All Scouts are encouraged to attend in Class A uniform to serve the meal. Our Charter Organization supports our Troop in many ways. This is a small way to say thank you to the congregation.
Northern Tier – Canoe Base – Canoe Base High Adventure trip. Dates for the trip have been finalized – June 27 to July 9, 2017. We have reservations for scouts and adult leaders. Spots are still available. Please see Mr. Derrick.
Jamboree 2017 – July 19-28, 2017– Jamboree does not conflict with the 2017 Canoe Base trip. Scouts are welcome and encouraged to attend both! Time is running out! If your Scout is not 1st Class yet and has registered for Jamboree – Encourage him to work on advancement during these winter months.
Scouts enjoyed their time at this years hunger walk. The scouts all walked the Tom Sawyer course, which lasted up to 3 miles! All the scouts enjoyed their time, and can’t wait till next year.

Hi, Troop 30 – Cold weather and the holidays are approaching. Mr. Wagner is coordinating an order for Red Fleece Jackets with the 100th Anniversary Troop logo as well as other items. Please see the flyer attached. The deadline for orders is November 17, during the troop meeting.
