Hiking and camping in Jefferson Memorial Forest

November 6 to 8

Patrol cooking, cost $15.00. There will be a Golden Spatula competition and we will be practicing Leave No Trace. Cracker barrel will be provided by the troop.

Please plan to meet at the Temple at 6:00 pm and to leave at 6:30. The troop will return on Sunday at 11:00 am. Patrols will provide transportation. Outing will include campfire with charades and skits as well as lightweight stove demonstrations.

Scouts should bring the following: day pack, change of clothing, rain gear, comfortable shoes, extra pair of shoes and socks, warm clothing, chair, flashlight, mess kit, cup, utensils, water bottle, scout handbook and plenty of Scout Spirit
